Brits are renowned for their love of dogs. The Pet Food Manufacturers Association (PFMA) estimates that 25% of UK households owned dog in 2013, or 8.5 million dogs.It is not known how many of those dogs are working dogs. However, dogs are now increasingly kept as beloved pets and companions.
